Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has revealed that 2025 will be a year marked by loud and aggressive mockery, but with a sobering outcome for many of the mockers.
“Mockers will be louder and more aggressive this year, but unfortunately, many of them will not survive the year,” he declared during the church’s crossover service.
The revered clergyman clarified that the term “unfortunately” reflects God’s desire for repentance, not destruction. “God does not want the death of a sinner; He wants them to repent and turn away from their ways,”
Pastor Adeboye explained, urging everyone to take heed and align themselves with God’s plan.
Describing 2025 as a landmark year, Pastor Adeboye noted that it will be unforgettable for individuals, communities, and nations. He assured believers that long-awaited breakthroughs will manifest this year, saying, “The date someone has been waiting for will arrive this year.”
He also noted that the intensification of the divine wind that began blowing in 2024. “The wind that started blowing last year will continue to blow this year, but stronger,” he said.
This wind, according to him, will bring about significant spiritual and earthly changes. Some ethnic camps, he noted, will be replaced by heavenly ones, signaling divine shifts in leadership and influence.
Amid the challenges and transitions, Pastor Adeboye offered a message of hope, stating that many towns and villages will shout “Victory at last!” in 2025. He assured believers that by September, there will be abundance of evidence that serving God brings abundant blessings.
“When God says it’s a landmark year, it means anything can happen both good and bad. Pray to God that only the good things will happen to you,”he advised.
